About
After a 5 year Hiatus, Seattle’s own Vendetta Red are back with a vengeance. Ignited by a fan’s text gag, the foursome unexpectedly found themselves slapped back together to play a one-off “for fun” show in the Spring 2011. The idea was to perform their second Epic records release Sisters of the Red Death in it’s entirety. The response was so overwhelming, the boys drunkenly agreed to start writing new music. With a renewed energy, a plethora of songwriters, the supervision of renowned rock producer Terry Date (Deftones, Pantera, Smashing Pumpkins, Slipknot) and many…many…many more beers, the band was ready to hit the studio on all cylinders. The result was an earth shattering, bowel cracking, ear tickling 11 song full length record due out late Spring/early Summer 2012. In the meantime, the band was honored to rock the Nirvana “Nevermind” 20th anniversary show at EMP, as well as Bumbershoot 2011.

You guys rocked my world at Rush’s in Bremerton 6 years ago. Zach, I couldn’t say then why I chased you down the sidewalk to give you a hug, after you ended the set by making a beeline for the liquor store. I’m glad I did though. That show went down in memory.
So amazingly fucking awesome you’re back together and making more music. I’m listening to my copy of Sisters of the Red Death right now.
Please tour the Northeast! and Atlanta, GA.
You guys really should play this year’s Warped Tour, get a new generation of kids into your music. They would eat it up.
My dear sweet Vendetta Red…I’m so glad you have rejoined forces and are once again rocking face. Last time I was at one of your shows was in NY and I was late so I missed your set…then you broke up…But I am back in Seattle and will keep on eye on any shows you’re playing
I saw you guys play around town about 4 times before your hiatus and I must say that I could see you guys maturing over that time. I was certain you guys were going to make it big because of that and your large following. I was shocked when I heard that you guys were quitting, and even more shocked now after all this time to hear you are back. I hope to catch a few shows.
Saw your guys’ last show at El Corazon when I was 16 and wrote my college admissions essay about it. Have loved you guys ever since. Come to NYC, or I’ll have to fly home to see you.
Listening to certain songs…certain chords and certain wailings… just brings out this emotional reaction and takes me straight back to being in my early teens, when the world was so fresh, so confusing, so untamed and untouched. your music bred in me a visceral understanding of music, and your poetry inspired me to delve into my own writing potential. these are things that are irreplaceable. i hope to see you guys live again, and i hope that the raw energy and vitality is still there.
also, side note: the fan ^above^ was the first boy i fell in love with! whats up spenser! 🙂
VR: thanks for rocking it, timelessly. your music and your message has the power to change lives!
Come to San Francisco!!!
I’m so elated to hear you are back together! I still listen to your albums as if they came out yesterday, which drives my husband insane sometimes! I remember the show you played in Tucson, AZ at Coconuts, on my 16th birthday, rocking my face off and I must say it was the best birthday ever! Now at 23, and an expectant mother, I turned into a 16 year old again when my brother told me you guys were no longer seperated. I look forward to all the amazing music you will make, making me swoon once again, decorating my baby in your gear, and hopefully see you once again in glorious Tucson!
I still have your set list from a show in Grand Rapids, MI. BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. Zach, you were sitting at the bar next to me and you bought me a beer. You called me blondie and I’m pretty sure i melted to the chair. SO GLAD YOU GUYS ARE BACK!! Go on tour already and HURRY IT UP!!!!!
YOU GUYS ARE MAKING MY LIFE BETTER SO GLAD YOU DECIDED TO GET BACK TOGETHER FUCKING KICK ASS AND COME TO PA ILL SUPPLY THE BOOZE IF YOU DRINK IT WITH ME THANKS GUYS FOR BEING FUCKING AWESOME
A FAN FOREVER
BRADY
I heard your music on the radio a few days ago… in the Sacramento area in California! What? I thought that when me and my other teenage, music obsessed friends brought you guys cookies at the second to last show “ever” at Rushs, it would be my last time ever seeing you play! Now, maybe a second chance. And with Jonah (he was always my favorite member of Schoolyard)! Listening to your music again makes me remember how good it felt to be back at the old venues screaming along to every word. Thanks so much for getting back together; your fans missed you. Now, come to Phoenix!
I’m so fucking glad you guys are back together and making new music. You need to go to Warped Tour 2013 and show this new age of rockers how its done 😀
Listening to you guys right now in 2014. Please never stop again.
You guys got to bring it back together. The music world needs it and your fans want it!
Please keep making music and tour in Florida!
Saw you guys were at the El corazon recently , so disappointed to miss you guys aghh. I hope to see you guys out there again soon! Haven’t seen you since 2011. Keep up the music. You guys rock!!!
You guys are one of my favorite all-time bands.
I pirated your albums (Sorry!) in high school (I bought them later!) and have shown your music to every single person I have ever discussed music with since (going on 11-12 years now?).
If you guys ever play in Austin, shout it loud and proud so I know you’re coming.
Keep rocking and making beautiful music 🙂
